7 Days of Prayer and Fasting: Day 2 – June 19, 2018

From June 18, 2018 – June 24, 2018 we are praying and fasting 12 hours per day (6am – 6pm) only drinking water.

Day 2: June 19, 2018:

Read: Luke 4:38 – 39

Memory verse: Memory verse: Luke 4:39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

Jesus served Peter’s mother-in-law by healing her from a deadly fever. As soon as she was healed, the woman showed her gratitude by immediately getting up and serving Jesus and others. She did not say “wait” or “allow me to rest before I serve you”. Our gratitude for anything Jesus has done for us is best shown by our willingness to serve Him through serving others.

Pray today:
1. For the end of any problems that may be plaguing you, your family, your city, state and/or nation.
2. To rebuke anything that is prohibiting you from unconditionally honoring and serving others and,
3. That others are blessed by your God-led service to them.

After you read and pray throughout the day, be sure to take time to listen for God to respond. Keep a journal to record what you hear Him say.
