7 Days of Prayer and Fasting: Day 4 – March 15, 2018

From March 12, 2018 – March 18, 2018 we are praying and fasting 12 hours per day (6am – 6pm) only drinking water.

Day 4: March 15, 2018:

Read: Nehemiah 8:8 – 12

Memory verse: Nehemiah 8: 10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Nehemiah and Ezra encouraged the people of Judah to not be sad when reflecting on their spiritual shortcomings. The Lord had not only helped them rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, but be in position to build their relationship with Him. This was manifested in their generosity to others who were less fortunate. The people of Judah shared the best of what they had so that others could be in position to celebrate God as well.

Pray today:
1. For the generous use of your resources to help build #teamKingdom through Jesus’ church.
2. For peace over all of your neighbors, understanding that you live where you live by Divine providence and,
3. That you can and will help your block be safe and saved as you pray for and share God’s peace with your neighbors.

After you read and pray throughout the day, be sure to take at least 5 minutes to listen for God to respond. Keep a journal to record what you hear Him say.
