Day 2 Of The #PrayFirst Campaign. Pray For The Family!

For One Week we will pray for One Minute every hour about One Topic as One Church to One God! Pray for the first 60 seconds of every hour and watch God bless the other 59 minutes! Prayers begin when you wake up until 10:00 PM. There is power when God’s people pray in unity. Join us as we answer Jesus’ prayer “May they be ONE” (John 17:21)”

Today we are praying for:
Family (Genesis 2: 18-24, Psalm 127:1)

Day 2My father would often say that the two greatest institutions on earth are the family and the church. Had the family not sinned in Eden, God would not have had to institute the church.

Much of what we see wrong in our society can be traced back to the erosion of strong, Godly families.

Today, as you pray, remember to:

  1. Be vulnerable and honest with God about your family. He wants to provide what is needed. Simply make your request known, in faith. (Faith was our area of prayer on yesterday!)
  2. Ask for His power in families across the city, state, nation and world.
  3. Conclude by thanking God for families being united in His love, growing in His grace and standing in His power.

Before you know it, 60 seconds would have already passed. Great things happen when we #PrayFirst

Are you guilty of talking to others about your problems before talking to God? Posting before praying? Do you want to get back into the habit of Putting 1st Things 1st and truly making God the head of your life? You are not alone.
