From November 6, 2017 – November 19, 2017 we are praying and only eating fruit, vegetables, salad and soup.

Day 14: November 19, 2017:

Memory verse: Isaiah 62:I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

Pray today for the continued discipline we have established during our 14-Day Fast:
1. So that we regularly and consistently fast before The Lord
2. So that we disciple others in order to Bring In Those We Do Not Know And Build Those We Do Know
3. So that we give God no rest from our prayers until He manifests the 2020 Vision through us

God appointed Isaiah and other prophets to preach and pray for the encouragement of His people during the delays of their deliverance from Babylon. As they did so, the people were encouraged to know that God would bring His people to experience an abundance of all He had promised. They would have an abundance of good preaching and good praying. It was through the abundance of good preaching and praying that God would help His people experience and enjoy mercy. Just as Moses’ arms were held up by Aaron and Hur to help Israel win the battle with Amalek (Exodus 17:10-12), the prophets were to keep on preaching and praying until God manifested His precious promises. This would encourage the people to keep going, building, multiplying and serving God.

The benefits of proclaiming and petitioning are not reserved to the pulpit. Because of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, all who belong to God have the right and responsibility to give Him no rest until He does everything that has been promised (Luke 11:5-13)! God’s Spirit will empower us to accomplish the Word that we declare and decree for the building of His kingdom.

While our corporate fast may be coming to an end, this should not be the end of your personal times of praying and fasting. It is important to maintain a regular prayer and fasting schedule as some things will only change when we do so (Mark 9:17-29). Our church has an awesome Vision and Mission. We have a mandate to be on mission with Jesus. We are World Deliverance Christian Center! That is why today we are praying for the continued discipline we have established during our 14-Day Fast so that we can continue to experience His promised results.
