Day 5 Of The ‪#‎PrayFirst‬ Campaign. Pray For Fulfillment/Vision!

For One Week we will pray for One Minute every hour about One Topic as One Church to One God! Pray for the first 60 seconds of every hour and watch God bless the other 59 minutes! Prayers begin when you wake up until 10:00 PM. There is power when God’s people pray in unity. Join us as we answer Jesus’ prayer “May they be ONE” (John 17:21)”

Today we are praying for:
Fulfillment/Vision (Acts 2:17-21)

Vision

A common phrase coaches in football can frequently be heard telling their team is: “Play until you hear the whistle.” The coaches say this to motivate the players to keep running until an official blows the whistle signaling that the play is over. The official is the only one who has the authority to declare that a play is over. Even when a coach wants to take a time-out, they must first inform the official, who blows the whistle and, in essence, authorizes the request.

In Habakkuk 2:2 God tells the prophet:

Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

The idea was that the people of Israel’s Southern Kingdom, who were exiled for 70 years, would read the good news of the awesome plans of restoration which God had for them and be encouraged to keep going. Even though things seemed to slow down, God had not blown the whistle which meant that they had to keep running. They had to keep moving believing that God would bring them out of Babylon and back to the land of promise!

As you pray today, remember the vision that God has given. Until you have what He promised in the place He promised, the vision is not yet fulfilled; so keep moving. God has not given up on you, so please do not give up on Him or the vision He has provided.

Keep running until you hear the whistle!

Today, as you pray:

  1. Thank God that He has thoughts of peace and not of evil for your life. He will bring you to the expected end that has already been prepared.
  2. Ask God to empower you to fulfill every assignment strong so that He gets the glory.
  3. Celebrate the fact that just as God has begun a good work in your life, He will perfect and complete it until He blows the whistle and says stop.

Before you know it, 60 seconds would have already passed. Great things happen when we #PrayFirst
