Day 6 Of The ‪#‎PrayFirst‬ Campaign. Pray For Friends/Evangelism!

For One Week we will pray for One Minute every hour about One Topic as One Church to One God! Pray for the first 60 seconds of every hour and watch God bless the other 59 minutes! Prayers begin when you wake up until 10:00 PM. There is power when God’s people pray in unity. Join us as we answer Jesus’ prayer “May they be ONE” (John 17:21)”

Today we are praying for:
Friends/Evangelism (Matt. 28:18-20)

Reach One

Friends do not allow friends to live without Jesus!

We read in Matthew 28:18-20 that prior to returning the heaven, Jesus gives His followers what has come to be known as the Great Commission. This verse is often referenced when Christian leaders teach on the mission of the church.

Missions = Activity of sending intermediaries to do God’s will so his purposes are furthered. To bring complete help.

Missions involves the following found in Matthew 28:18 – 20:

  1. Authority to send; obedience to go;
  2. A task to be accomplished;
  3. Power to accomplish the task; and
  4. A purpose within the framework of God’s completed work.

Christ expects His followers to obey His command to make disciples. To ensure that we are successful, He has given His Holy Spirit to empower us as we live out His Word with those who are in need of the salvation only Christ can bring.

As you pray today, remember the people you “do life” with. Ask The Lord to help you live out the Great Commission in order to bring them into the kingdom of God.

Today, as you pray:

  1. Thank God that He allows you to participate in His finished work of salvation by telling your family about Him.
  2. Thank God that He allows you to participate in His finished work of salvation by telling your friends about Him.
  3. Thank God that He allows you to participate in His finished work of salvation by telling your foes about Him. Yes, God even wants you to share the good news of the victory of salvation with the people you have tried to avoid.
  4. Thank God that He allows you to participate in His finished work of salvation by telling foreigners about Him. Mission work is intentional. No one is saved by accident.

Before you know it, 60 seconds would have already passed. Great things happen when we #PrayFirst
